Five-Ingredient Sheet Pan Chicken Fajitas 🌮
Some nights dinner just has to be fast, and these fajitas deliver: five ingredients, one pan, about thirty minutes start to finish. Everything roasts together while I set the table, and the whole kitchen ends up smelling like a Friday night at our favorite Mexican spot. What I love most is that everybody builds their own. Gabriella and Anthony get plain chicken and a warm tortilla, the grown-ups pile on everything, and nobody complains. That is a genuine win in my house.

Tips for Making This Recipe
Crank the heat — a hot oven is what gives you those charred pepper edges instead of steamed, soggy ones. Don’t crowd the pan; spread everything in a single layer so it roasts instead of sweats. Warm your tortillas right on the oven rack for the last minute — it makes all the difference. Squeeze fresh lime over the top before serving to wake everything up.
Frequently Asked Questions
What are the 5 ingredients?
Chicken, bell peppers, onion, fajita seasoning, and a little oil. Everything else — tortillas, lime, toppings — is your call.
What’s the best chicken to use?
Boneless thighs stay juiciest on a hot sheet pan, but breasts work great too — just slice them thin so they cook quickly and evenly.
Can I prep it ahead?
Yes — slice the chicken and veggies and toss them in the seasoning earlier in the day. When it’s dinner time, just spread on the pan and roast.
What toppings go best?
Lime, sour cream, guac, shredded cheese, cilantro, and pico. Build your own and go wild.
