Tips for Making This Recipe

  • Froth it while it’s cold: Make sure your cream mixture is nice and cold before frothing—it helps create that thick, creamy cold foam that sits beautifully on top of your coffee.
  • Make it ahead: Mix the pumpkin cream base ahead of time and store it in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3–4 days. Just froth the amount you need when you’re ready for coffee.
  • Don’t overdo the pumpkin: More pumpkin purée doesn’t necessarily mean more pumpkin flavor! Adding too much can make your cold foam heavy and prevent it from getting light and fluffy.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I make Pumpkin Cream Cold Foam without a frother?
Yes! You can use a handheld frother, blender, or even vigorously shake the mixture in a tightly sealed mason jar until it becomes thick and foamy.
Can I make Pumpkin Cream Cold Foam ahead of time?
Absolutely. Prepare the pumpkin cream mixture and store it covered in the refrigerator for up to 3–4 days. For the best texture, wait to froth it until right before serving.
What coffee is best with Pumpkin Cream Cold Foam?
I love it over cold brew or iced coffee, but it’s also delicious on iced espresso drinks. Add a little cinnamon or pumpkin pie spice on top for the full coffee-shop experience.
