Servings: 4
- 1 lb ground beef I use 80/20, any type works
- 1/2 white/yellow onion chopped
- 3 garlic cloves minced
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1 tsp salt more to taste
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 1 24 oz Jar marinara sauce your favorite!
- 4 cups chicken broth or beef
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 lb spaghetti, uncooked
- Parmesan cheese for topping
In a large stock pot/Dutch oven on medium-high heat, add ground beef, onion, garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, pepper, garlic powder and onion powder. Cook, mixing occasionally, until the ground beef is browned (about 7 minutes).
Stir in marinara sauce, chicken broth and heavy cream. Add uncooked spaghetti and be sure it is covered in the liquid as it begins to soften.
Cover and bring to a boil on medium-high heat. Stir occasionally so nothing sticks to the bottom of the pan.
Cook until pasta is al dente and sauce has thickened.
Serve with fresh cheese and enjoy!
