- 1 tbsp Butter
- 1 lb Ground beef
- 1 tsp Garlic powder
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1/2 tsp Pepper
- 1 whole White/yellow onion, grated
- 4 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp Tomato paste
- 1/2 tbsp Soy sauce
- 1 tsp Apple cider vinegar
- 1 tsp Yellow mustard
- 1 tbsp Brown sugar
- 1/2 cup tomato sauce
- 1/2 cup beef broth
In a large skillet on medium heat, melt butter
Add ground beef, garlic powder, salt, pepper, onions, and garlic.
Cook until no longer pink (about 5 minutes).
Drain grease with a paper towl.
Add tomato paste and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
Add soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, mustard, brown sugar, tomato sauce, ketchup and beef broth.
Bring to a bubble
Reduce heat to low and cover with a lid and cook for about 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
After 15 minutes, remove the lid and cook for another 5 minutes or until it thickens to your liking. Taste for salt.
Serve on a toasted bun.
